Ease into fall
and the holidays
Event
season is winding down, whew! Thanks to friends old and new who stopped
by to see us. We had a great time and feel very lucky to be part of a
community that cares so much about our companion animals.
Now
we can concentrate our energy on indoor pursuits! That said, save the
date, we have a little something in mind for a get-together in early
2013 at our Englewood location. Pencil us in for January 13 to get the
year started with a bang. Look for details in upcoming newsletters.
Schedule
updates: Dr. Kristyn Richardson will be extending her hours in
Broomfield starting this month. She will be seeing clients on
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and every other Saturday. Many thanks to
her for making a long drive to fill in our scheduling gaps in
Englewood.
Dr.
Rebecca Blumberg will now be seeing clients at our Longmont location
inside Aspen Meadows Veterinary Specialists.

Energy Therapy for Your Canine Companion
by Jody Schmidt, Reiki Master Teacher
Energy
Therapy uses energetic, therapeutic bodywork to help the body
(physical, emotional and mental) come back to a state of harmony and
greater vitality. It is a gentle, non-invasive means of
supporting the natural healing process caused by trauma, injury
and illness. It also provides comfort in the aging
process. It is a safe complement
to traditional western veterinary medicine and all other forms of
healing.
Benefits:
- Promotes health and
overall well-being
- Relieves tension and
stress
- Relaxes prior to
surgery, helps accelerate the healing process and ease pain after
surgery
- Reduces pain caused by
arthritis, injuries, hip dysplasia and other ailments
- Accelerates the healing
of trauma from both physical and emotional wounds
- Recharges and
revitalizes from lethargy, depression and adapting to a new way of
being
- Soothes and comforts
emotional and mental well-being caused by trauma,
stress disorders and hyperactivity
- Provides greater
physical comfort in the natural aging process
Your canine companion will
quickly take to a session as they find it very relaxing.
Oftentimes they will physically show signs of being more at ease by
sleeping better and not holding such a restricted posture that is often
caused by pain.
Treat yourself to an energy therapy session while your canine companion
is receiving rehab services from CRCG. You can both benefit from
a stress release session!
Individual sessions are $35 for 30 minutes
Joint sessions for you and your dog are $45 for 35 minutes
Jody will be seeing clients at our Englewood location on October 13th
and October 20th. Call us at 303-762-7946 to schedule
an appointment.

Meet
the Staff
Talia
Heit
My
name is Talia and I was born and raised in Colorado. I have been
working with animals for about the last 5 years. I worked at a local
shelter where I developed my huge passion for fostering and rescuing pit
bull type dogs. I have 3 rescue pit bulls of my own. Leo, Layla, and Hippo. I also worked at a behavior and
training center for dogs where I was able to work with shelter animals
and give them the basic skills they needed to help make them more
adaptable. I also worked with newly adopted animals to help them adjust
to their new lives. I enjoy hiking and anything outdoors. I'm very much
into health and nutrition. My biggest passion is being an advocate for
the pit bull type dogs and trying to change the bad perception they
have been given. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing
company that CRCG is and am honored to be a part of the lives of the
amazing dogs and owners that come into our place.
