CRCG's Treatment Policy

All rehabilitation therapy is conducted by licensed physical therapists, veterinarians, and certified veterinarian technicians who has received individualized instruction and certification in physical rehabilitation of small animal patients (for example, from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine).

Please note that canine rehabilitation is an adjunct to veterinary medicine; certified canine rehabilitation practitioners do not provide veterinary services.

A veterinarian referral is necessary for dogs being treated for specific medical conditions like post-operative recovery and serious (altered physical state) injury. The staff of CRCG partner with referring vets to create and execute a joint treatment plan and communicate frequently and formally throughout the recovery process.

All clients must complete, sign and date the clinic in-take forms that include details about owner and practitioner responsibilties and liability.
